Damn! I would have too, BK. A couple days too early I guess.

And yes, I almost asked if that was installed before I was there on Monday.

No, they are just trying to make the best of a difficult situation, i.e. high water at everts…

I believe a BK action shot of the slide in use is in order!

    That would be cool!

I’ll see if I can get Kari to stand in the Trembel to take the shot today!!

Since the water rose to cover the whole swing/slide are this morning, I’ll have to wait a bit so I don’t get my toes wet.

Seriously, you subject us to your bathtub pics but won’t, for the great good of iDo, take a pic of you sliding into the Mighty Miss? I’m hurt and relieved at the same time. I really didn’t want to see you in your speedo again.

Speedo? Who said anything about a Speedo?

The photo is of the same spot 12 hours later.

We’ll need a JET SKI to get to the water slide soon.

You were wearing one the last time I saw you at the Sturgeon excursion… Sorry about the “what happens up north”….

Man up, just walk out to the swing!

Kooty, you can’t remember ANYthing about the Sturgeon Excursion…and it was Ralf Wiggims with a yellow speedo, not me.

    Sorry Ralf.

Erick, white looks so good on you.

No rod holders on the swing set. Its tough to swing and fish at the same time.

Yahknow? Even with a 18 round mag, a three inch barrel is just too small for distant snake shooting.

Hey Rookie! Wonder if the rents going up now that we have beach front camper spots?

Don’t give Steve any ideas! In a few days we will find out if you should have had bigger brains than balls.

They must be really holding up the water as much as possible on those upper pools. Its high down here to but its been a much more gradual rise. The fishing remains outstanding. I expected the water to be dirty (today was my first day out in a few days) but it was pretty normal. I like fishing at high pool. A few key areas get outstanding for largemouths when the water is at the predicted height. The local beaver’s better put on their helmets, because my skeg is going to be bouncing over their heads…. #beaverdamjumping2012

The rollers are open on the dams…so they aren’t holding anything back…fortunately.

We’ve been having more hot large mouth action reports up this way too. I’m not sure if it’s just not talked about much (you know those walleye guys) or there’s just more bass in the area.

All the River Rats that fished the high water last year claimed better than average bites. We’ll see how the next couple weeks shake out.

‘Course I could be fishing off my deck tonight.
