the girlfriend and i where kicking around a couple of weeks ago what we were going to do for the big weekend..we had some friends invite us back to their cabin on vermillion..we had some time to burn friday..( all day )..we decided to go fish some salmon/trout on superior for the day and were rewarded with 1 king and 3 more hookups…(thanx to grant sorenson for the info)..we then spent the weekend at vermillion ..caught lots of fish on the lake trying all types of presentations..her and i decided since we didnt have to be back till tuesday that we would stop and fish mille lacs for a day or so..little on the windy side but luckily were we stayed was on the north east area and was fishable..we corked last night.. rigged and pulled cranks this morning and had a great time catchin fish we cant keep..next year were going to shoot for 6 or 7 lakes in 5 or 6 days…wish gas was a bit cheaper..it would have made it much more enjoyable…lol
