    Hello –

I am thinking about purchasing a 2008 Saturn Outlook. I am just looking for some opinions on this vehicle. Also, are parts hard to find since Saturns are no longer made?

    Thanks,

    Chad

My wife drives a 2010 outlook and we love it. We did have a little issue with getting parts right at the time that they shut down the saturn dealers. She was in a fender bender right before the shutdown. Saturn dealers were out of parts, and GM couldn’t sell parts until after the transition. I would think that you should be able to find parts at any GM dealer now. Motor is the same as a Chevy Traverse.

Outlook is the same vehicle as the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse, and Buick Enclave. Parts are pretty much interchangable. I would no propblems buying that vehicle. as a matter a fact we are possibly looking to buy one.

I have an 2008 Saturn Outlook right now, very good vehicle for the family..However we just had some issues with the Transmission, the vehicle has 75k on it and this is when some problems start to happen according to our dealer. The 07-08 Outlooks have some transmission issues also heard from my dealer 09 and newer zero known problems. I would say if you are buying make sure you get some extended warranty, I would look new if buying from a private party.

    my .02 cents.
