Just got the call nobody wants to get

    A couple of days ago I put a post for prayers for my sister. Got a call about an hour ago that my sisters cancer is terminal. Most aggresssive cancer there is and it is already stage 4. The doctor told her she has about a month to live. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

    tough to hear just before the weekend or anytime, hopefully you didn’t have a lot of plans, I wouldn’t be able to do much. Sorry to hear that.

    I know what you are going through as I lost my father a few years ago to cancer. My family will be praying for yours. I know the next month will be hard but just remember the following:

    John 14:1-4
    Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.

    So very sorry to hear that. I can so relate to it, too. I went through that same experience, 2 times in less than 2 years. First was my sister and then my sister-in-law. I’ll be sure to include your sister, family and you in our prayers. Take care and God Bless you all.

    Very sad news. Thoughts and prayers sent to your entire family.

    I’m sure you are planning this, but spend as much time with her as you can. Go out of your way to get the most out of her time left with you and create more memories. It’s impossibly hard to receive this news.
