red lake water levels

anyone fished red this year…i’m hearing of record low levels and issues putting a decent size boat in at the public access

True dat. We bottomed out twice at Rogers but it wasnt a big deal. I wouldnt want to leave the Tamerack if its rough.

I camped on the Tamarack river across from the public access opening weekend. Out in the lake about 50 yards from the river mouth there was a 100 yard stretch where it was 1 1/2 to 2 fow. If you took it slow your prop was going to be pushed into the sand with the west wind that blew Sat. & Sun. Some boats blasted over that strech on plane and appeared to do OK. Monday on flat water I kept on plane over that stretch and did make it.

did you put in at the public access..if so how big a boat do you run ??
