He only put 24 in the boat, he obviously was not targeting them.
He’s from Hastings. Are they open on pool #3 South as boarder waters?
Just checked the regs and I believe they are continuous on the Mississippi where it borders WI.
Are u kidding me? U call yourself anglers and don’t even know the rules? Pool 3 from prescott down is open year round. The croix opens next weekend.
24 on the river is the most bass ive ever heard of in 3 hours.. congrats!

You’ve never fished the sippi from Monticello to anoka then. You can nail 24 in 24 casts when you find “the pod” no joke.

I don’t know the seasons in Nebraska either. I don’t have to. And I am a fisherman, not an angler.
Your right ive only fished pool 2 and 3.. 24 in 24 casts? Im gonna youtube this…….

1 thing to remember is that most people typically pay attention to the laws that pertain to the area’s that they fish, I fish P4 on down on the river about 95% of the time i’m out fishing and i can tell you i don’t know all the laws in the rest of the state and frankly i don’t care unless i’m going to be fishing in another area but i know i always have my regs book handy to read the laws for that area.

Quick, dont look. What is the minimum size limit for bass on pool 15 of the missisippi river? You are an angler, so you must know the rules.
I can recite the regulations for the area I fish, rest of the state or minnesota.. I dont give a crap unless I plan to fish there.
If ya don’t give a crap why did ya have to make such a big damn deal out of nothing? Thank the lord he didn’t put any pics up or we would have ww3. A guy can’t even make an honest report.

In B BK’s defense, his first post is

He was hardly laying into him. To be honest I had a rip in my original reply, but I checked the border regs real quick to make sure I was not speaking out of turn.
When I saw he was from Hastings, it was fairly safe to assume he was fishing border waters south of Prescott.

I agree thats why they have the regulation book sitting at the counter when you buy your license, the thing that irritates me is when people are fishing an unfamiliar body of water and haven’t bothered to read the laws for that particular body of water i personally believe that is your responsibility as an angler or fisherman what ever you want to call yourself. Remember ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law. However there is nothing wrong with somebody not knowing the laws in a state they do not live in and asking a simple question
Good point rick. You can read the regs while sitting on the couch right?
Sorry Targa.
With the special regs on so many lakes today, you have to read them when fishing a new body of water if you plan on keeping anything.
