What’s the point of issueing that medal Posthumous? Especially that long ago?

Before anybody jumps me let me be clear. Isnt it possible those recommending the medal are the ones looking for attention therefore actaully dishonoring the recipient or am I thinking too much into this?

Because it is the right thing to do? The paper work was lost for 3 decades. Shocking.

if you ever have a chance to meet an MOH awardee and be lucky enough to hear their story, i suggest you seize every opportunity to do so, its the most humbling experience you may ever have, it will completely change your outlook on life

Ex-Military also. It’s for his family to have to keep his memory alive.
