The wife might not like it but…..there just might be a change in plans on the Clark’s calendar for that weekend. She will get over it, I hope!

You would be surprised at the size and quantity of Cat(rough)fish that show up at the weigh-in. Great table fare…

We’re coming up on the 7th and I would ask if there’s anyone else that would like to attend to please drop me a message either here or by email letting me know, so I have enough food and beverages for that Saturday.

While the river is high and a bit fast, the fish are biting and it should be a great time.

I wanted to thank everyone who made Saturday the 7th a fantastic day. The weather broke and we were greeted with a beautiful day for fishing. We had a total of 60 anglers for the day, and the 1st place winners for each division were awarded $95 for their efforts. I do believe, that’s the most we’ve ever paid out for this low-key tourney. It’s also the first time, we didn’t have enough beach to hold all the boats for takeoff. LOL!

It was great seeing the usual friends, but even better seeing some of the old friends I haven’t seen in some time. Yes Herb, that means you!

I wish I could have taken more pics, but between running the scale and everything else, I wasn’t able to get pics of all the winners. The 3 pics posted are the winners of that category. The biggest fish for each category are as follows.

    Bass: 3.90lbs
    Walleye: 2.17lbs
    Pike: 7.65lbs
    Panfish: 1.07lbs (Crappie)
    Roughfish: 20.10lbs (Flathead)
White Bass .11lbs. Yeah, you read that right. LOL! It was about 6″ long.

I want to thank everyone who made it out and made the day so special.

First let me thank the Donaldson’s for yet another awesome tourney/party. Once again this was an awesome time with a lot of great people and the food was awesome
Happy retirement Tom Sr. and Happy Birthday Blue

It was also a treat to see Herb once again, even if I didn’t recognize him at first out of his ice fishing gear

The first 2 pics are the line up with a gorgeous back ground. The Lord sure is great with his paint brush!

The 3 pic is Blue Fleck and Jeremy hauling butt to their secret honey hole, we later heard the carp had moved out Very good to see you again Jeremy Have you looked in your cooler yet

The last pic is a busy landing at the weigh in. Everyone was patient and once again all the boats were recovered and loaded up without incidence.

This is my favorite event each year (even though me and my buddy Mike suck fishing it ) and I’m looking forward to next years Donaldson Tourney
