I would look at the pellet stove you are considering purchasing. The venting installation specs should be available on line. I am in WI, so our codes are a little bit different from what it sounds like.
If I am understanding what wiwalleye is saying, he is taking the air to be blown into the room and forcing it into his air ducts. You would not want to exhaust vent your stove in that manner.
And Czech is almost spot on in his analyses, regarding the venting, though again in WI, you should only use the venting that is allowed by the stove manufacturer in your situation.
Lastly, of course if it is in your own home, you can do what you want.
