Lake Waconia!!

    hey guys, im looking to go walleye fishing on the opener for the first time. Im going to be at my friends house up in the cities so Lake Waconia seems like the logical choice. anyone got any pointers maybe? Never been there before, thank you!

    I fish Waconia almost every day from opener to ice up and theirs no way in hell I’d be out there tomorrow. I’m guessing they’ll be a couple hundred boats out there following the governor around.

    Hey, according to the news this AM, you can at least get a free boat wash by the DNR there…

    Lake Independence might be a good alternative to Waconia. Too much media and traffic around Waconia with governor’s opener there.
