Any reccommendations for a reasonably priced 2 bank charger? What should I look for? Leaning towards a Cabela’s brand 2 bank, 10amp charger. Any reviews on that? Anything better for the money? (under $200)

I’m getting sick of having to pull my batteries every time I need to charge them

I’ve had real good luck with my Minkota 3 banker.

PS I haven’t used any other obc. I can’t say Minkota is the best, but it’s done me good for the last 5 years.

And Minkota has a 3 year warrenty.

I’ve got a single and a 2 bank myself for about 7 years now. Just a week ago I noticed a fault with my 2 bank. Normally when this happens there is a battery or connection problem.

I’ll let you know if I find out that it’s a charger problem or not.

Even if it’s a charger problem, I’d go out and buy another Minnkota.

I had a Dual Pro 3 bank 10 amp per bank that lasted 14 years. In fact it still works fine but one bank doesn’t quite switch to the final/maintenance mode once that battery is charged. I spoke with Dual Pro, the unit was an older model that was not repairable.

So, I pulled the charger and gave it to the guy that purchased my Minn Kota trolling motor of the same vintage.

I have purchased a Minn Kota 3 bank digital 10 amp per bank. Too early to tell how it performs.

Long story short I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the Dual Pro.

Minn Kota digital remains to be seen.

There is a rebate offer available on the Minn Kota.

I have had a Cabelas Prosport 8 in my boat sense 07. Been a workhorse and still ticking. Hard to beat for the money. I don’t think they have the 8 anymore, but the 12 is $80 on sale right now.

    Good luck!

I have a Dual-Pro 3 bank, does a great job. Keep it on all winter and checked water in mu batteries and only added about 8 oz water to all three batteries total. Dual Pro is rebuildable if one of the banks go out. I did have Minnkota and I feel I’v made the smarter choice going to the Dual Pro.

I had a Cabelas 3 bank on my last boat. It was a 2004 Lund. Was still working when I sold it last Oct.
