It is a sad day. My trusty gas grill made its last sirloin today and needs to be replaced. Any recommendations for a new grill. Thanks.

I don’t think the new ones are made as well as the old ones. I got a nice shiny stainles one 2 years ago? I got it to replace the old one that my fatherinlaw had for 15 years. Guess what? New on has crapped out and the old one is still going perfectly. I do need to try and find replacement grates and a handle. Wondering if I can use the newer one as a charcole grill or smoker?

I was in the same boat last year. I ended up buying a Brinkman stainless 5 burner and it has been awesome. Best bang for the buck? Weber, spendy.

    I have a Char-Broil TRU-Infrared 4 burner stainless. A little spendy but a great grill.

Weber, hard plumbed to natural gas. No more annoying gas outage with the steak half done. Cook 8 burgers and they all look the same. Spare parts available at many local hardware stores.

Weber has my vote also. I want mine to die so I can get a new one, but my old one just refuses…

X3 Had my genesis for about 6 years now, awesome grill. My son just moved and I bought him a Smoke Hollow 4 in 1 as a house warming gift. Has a side smoker, charcoal grill,3 burner gas grill and infrared sear grill. Anxious for a report from him. $350 at Sam’s Club.

    GOSM propane big block smoker.

What ever you end up getting, serve no meat before it’s time and never, ever serve it dry! Enjoy!

Holland is another one to look at. Very consistent cook temps and absolutely no flare ups. Has the smoking capability and the type of grill grate allows you to cook about anything on it. We routinely cook bacon on the grill great both for breakfast and along side the burgers. We have been known to cook pizzas on a pizza stone directly on the grate. Nothing better than grilled pizza.

Very versatile grill and my parents had their first one for 8 yrs.

I bought a used Holland on a garage sale 12 years ago and it looked crapped out when i got it. I finally retired it to the garage and bought another Holland on friday. It still works fine but the drip pan was rusted out and the shell is looking pretting rough, it was blown across the yard a couple time in a wind storm. I still use a weber charcoal alot but the holland is great for chicken, burgers, pork loin, potatoes and the like.

I used to Weber grills for the gas company. Our number one seller was the Weber Silver. IT has v shaped bars covering the burner so they dont burn food.

Summit series Weber, we have one and it does it all, infra red rotisserie, smoker, side burner and more.

Weber. Despite the price, they represent good value because over time they will outlast 3 or 4 cheaper grills.

I bought a hardly used gas Weber from someone at work when my old Genesis was wearing out after 10 years or so.

I have an old school Weber charcoal only as well and you always find those at garage sales.
