    Completely unreal. This is either the 3rd or 4th year running that I’ve been screwed over by berkley’s rebates. And the answer to your first question is no, I haven’t learned my lesson, apparently.
    I don’t really have a problem with not getting the money. But when I follow all your rules and do everything you ask, and you don’t come through on your end with what you’ve promised, I get peeved. If their baits didn’t work so well, I’d go postal. Unbelieveable.

    Anyone else having these same issues?

    Have you complained in a letter? You can also try complaining through Facebook on their page and Twitter. They may just end up deleting your post on their page. I’d write a scathing letter. Its about all you can do at this point.

    Does Berkely process their own rebates or does it go through some huge rebate clearing house like most places? If it is the latter, and they deny your rebate, you usually won’t get anything from the rebate processor and will probably have to raise a stink about it with the manufacturer themselves.

    Apparently in the world of Social Media the worst thing a company can do is delete your post. The Thing they’re supposed to do is reply to your concern and try to help you. I’d throw something out there on their FB page and see what happens. It may confirm your opinion of the company or you may get some help. Good luck

    For real, Facebook is now a huge vector for people airing complaints. I work for a large retail company, and we definitely put grease on those squeaky wheels.

    Man that would really fire me up to. Its crazy the hoops they make you jump through to get a rebate. I never do them because im too lazy but if I was to follow everything and didnt get it I would be furious.

    What rebate did you send in? Berkley has a different company handle rebates. contact them dirrectly.

    We just sent two rebates in — one for line and the other for bait. Ours were sent to White Bear Lake, MN. How long ago did you send yours in?? and maybe it’s still in process?? I will not be happy if we do not receive ours. Did you get a notice that stated that you will not get the rebate??

    I sent mine in early, probably a month ago or more. I do still have all the papers, so I’ll have to look at them. I made copies because these amateurs have done this many times to me before.

    Yes, sent it to White Bear or where ever in MN. I did receive a notice saying my rebate would not be fulfilled.

    And Jerr, you know me….it doesn’t matter what hour it is for my grumpiness.
