The great news is the House and Senate approved the Omnibus Game and fish Bill last night, congrats and thank you to all those who helped get this done. Its not quite over yet. Just as we’ve been able to get it to the finish line now we need to push it over the top. Please Call Governor Dayton’s office and tell him to sign the Bill. Toll Free: 800-657-3717 do it today and leave a message…
Thank you; this is the most important part.

why exactly do you support this increase? If they were to balance their spending, they could find plenty of pork to redirect the money from.

when they clean up their ways, i then will support new taxes and user fees.

Call Governor Dayton and tell him to VETO!

So you have looked at their balance sheet and no where they could redirect funds from? Maybe you guys should be more constructive and go through their budget and offer suggestions. I suggest the first place to start is the 20% dedicated to stocking. I know I certainly hope if it wasn’t passed, that would be the first place they looked at.

I know that they have pulled back on doing lake surveys and have talked of closing offices and letting COs go if they keep losing money. Pretty hard to manage without tools(surveys) and less employees.

Or how about the $150,000 they plan on spending on a Woodduck study, when the Woodduck Society already has the info they are trying to obtain, but will not use the Society’s data…
