Can those of us, who are able to demonstrate that we actually DO understand merging, get the sticker that says …
Why is it ALWAYS a Prius ?
Do you have to remove your plug if your tied up to the dock overnight.
In-order to be fully ready for the season, lets review the top 10 best arguments to have with a CO or AIS Inspector at the ramp. I’ll start with number ten
10. Everything MN is doing is worthless. There is no way you can stop the spread of AIS, it is a waste of taxpayer dollars and my time.
Do we hear a #9 ?
Do I need one on my life jacket, as well as the boat? Does kids need them as well for rafts and other water toys?
How about my waders?
#8.) I have in my hand this “magical tiger repelling rock”. I am willing to sell it to you for $2,500. With this rock in your possession you will never need to fear an attack from a tiger in Minnesota.
Don’t forget water birds, make sure they have their stickers too jerr
#6 Can I get a ” merging onto the freeway proficiency” sticker from you too?
#4 Can you give me the sticker that’s needed for the birds? I can give you the bird for needing this sticker!
#1) Buy $20,000 mobile steam cleaning unit and set up ambush spots to kill invasives.
#1b) invent better mobile steam cleaning unit and sell to DNR.
#1c) sell water soaker guns to DNR to hand out to inspectors.
#1d) Pass stand your ground law.
# 2..Peel back sticker, throw in water, AIS will adhere to sticker surface, retrieve sticker and deposit in AIS waste recycling bin.
“did I remember to drain my livewell?” …
“did you get your face out of that checklist long enough to see where you’re standing?”
I actually had this exchange with an “AIS inspector”
while my livewell WAS draining … right ONTO the toes of his boots
we missed #3….
How much tax dollars would it cost to train Hummingbirds to eat the Zeebs ?
Here’s a list of AIS questions/issues that I printed from the IDO site.
Can you please have commisioner Landwehr email his answers/responses to Brian K @ ido.com with a cc to J Holste @ ido.com ?
Is the sticker only for baots that are MN registered? or is it for boats that are going to use MN waters. I am from sconi but fish the mississippi.

All boats. However:
1. You can put sticker ANYWHERE in your boat.
2. NOT REQUIRED until 8-1-14
#10 (a) I thought Conceal and Carry applied to AIS as well as guns, rifles and small explosive devices?
#10 (b) I heard from a guy that heard it from someone on the Internet that Asian Carp will never stay in Minnesota/Wisconsin waters because they don’t like the cold and our plankton tastes like cheese.

That sure sounds communistic to me …. I may leave the country if thats the way its going to be .. how Dare them to try and slow the spreead of invasives…

Yup I had a terrible milfoil infestation in my backyard pond. Tossed a couple bricks of limberger into the water and it took care of the weeds quite nicely.
Now how do I get rid of all the d@mn ‘sconies who’ve showed up?
Next door neighbor used lutefisk to kill the zeebs, now he’s dealing with an infestation of Norwegians.
# 10 (c) It’s under the battery box. Let me get some tools out so we can get the battery out. The rules said I could put the sticker anywhere in the boat! Aren’t you proud of me for being a responsible angler?

I would be more proud to be fiscally responsible as well…don’t you think?

I’m not Jesse..my name is Briank (some of you might remember that song)
Just put AIS Sticker in the subject line
and
your address in the body.
I remember the song “Jesse’s Girl”.
So Buzz you think my sticker on the lexan is a bad idea? I didn’t see any place on my boat that I thought it would last. Looking at the sticker it is dated 2012 with 2011 rules as of August. With all the debate and funding stuff on this issue I see the sticker changing frequently. No point in putting a sticker in a permanent place when it seems like a temporary thing.
