    She’s back at Everts!

    Although my FW BEGGED me to put it in our bedroom, I felt it was better admired in the bait shop.

    Steve Vick, Redneck and Redneck Jr along with Steve Weber mounted the replica of the 140 pound alligator gar while I supervised. They all received gold stars for the day.

    …now I just need to come up with a whopper of a fishing story to go along with the whopper of a fish.

    Suggestions welcome.

    I’m still hoping to get over for the first time this year……..I thought retirement meant no work & all fishing!?! Somebody lied. The 16th sounds like a great time. Hope to get there. Good luck at The resort.

    We just got back home from a weekend at Evert’s…

    We all had a blast even though the rain came in…

    Steve and his wife have things under control very well !!!

    Kind of reminds me of old times !!!

    Hi everyone. sorry I’ve been out of the loop for a while, moved to the DC area in 2009 and kind of fell off of IDO. I’m back in MN for about a month, but just wondering…could someone maybe PM me and tell me what exactly happened with Evert’s? I see all this about Evert’s being “back” and just wondering what it’s back from…thanks a lot in advance. Can’t wait to make a trip down there, got my personal best walleye of about 11 pounds in early March 2008 right on the edge of the ice in the lock channel there. Good times!!

    Best thing to do is to head down that way for a days fishing and chat Steve or Kari, the new kids on the block.
