So, do you still think your “Uncle Teddy” is a hero? Plead guilty to poaching bear in Alaska, baiting deer in California. Won’t even mention the other stupid things he’s done. What do you think the NRA likes him for most, his mouth or his money? Yup, he’s a real sportsman alright.

I would say we all have a lapse in judgement now and then and I also confess to making mistakes. That being said he does have a large rock and roll ego. Always had always will and what he did was wrong. I still believe he advocates more good than bad

I don’t have heroes. I am my own hero. And I am poaching some eggs this morning.

I think Ted definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer, he should have been born a 100 years ago.

Not sure if it was ego or just a disregard for laws, maybe both, hopefully he’ll learn from this but I’m not so sure.

He does do a fair bit of good though, more than most.

a lapse in judgemnt ?? he knows the rules and chooses not to follow them because he was a rock star..he is an activist now nothing more and what he stands for is having his own name in the media..i too am glad that he is on your side

This guy is and always will be a selfish lunatic. Support and vote as your concience dictates but there are far better spokesmen for “our side”. This clown show should have been forgotten long ago.

Kinda makes me wonder if some people lay in bed at night and think of someone to complain about.

I used to be able to do a full fakey with a half twist. Not in real life though. Only when playing Tony Hawk on the PS2.I don’t even think I ever owed a skateboard, but I am sure I broke a few friends boards.

I’ve been to a few of his shows. He’s on “my” side….

I think he’s a jerk. A buffoon. A blowhard. I get the distinct feeling that he’s not what some would call a good man.

Fred Bear would not be proud of what he’s become.

Upon further reflection he is and probably will be a kick-[censored] guitar player, it’s his singing I can’t stand.

very under rated on guitar, if you compared him to Al Fraken aka Stewart Smally, he uses his stage in life to give his thoughts, just one is way left and one is way right. Only difference is Ted is not a US Senator

I’m not sure why anyone would give ted nugent a free pass on this stuff. Imagine if you saw al lindner netting walleye on mille lacs? Would you still want him on our side? Not sure why people have any respect for this idiot

He wounded a bear then killed a different one, there saying the wounded bear counted as a kill… Its a far cry from shooting a deer in the headlights, or takiing 60 walleyes over your limit. And how can killing a deer over bait be cinsidered poaching when SOME guys in Wisconsin do it all season Not saying just sayin we need to read though BS published by Anti hunting media networks.

Is he/ what he did right NO, do I still like him, YES!

Because baiting isn’t legal in some states, that is how its considered poaching.

I think he did the Secret Service a huge favor, by providing a distraction, on a week when their own nuts were in the wringer
