I would get one of those in a heart beat if I could afford it.
Seems like such a small engine for a full sized truck, but if it gets good gas mileage and pulls a boat well I’m in.

Anybody who has one of these test it out pulling some heavy loads?

The engine is what I liked for pulling and fuel economy for a V6 it puts out 365HP and 420ft Lbs at 1700RPM

I have a 2011 eco boost and have pulled a 16ft dump trailer piled high with split oak fired wood with no problems pulling or stopping. Awesome truck and the two turbos make it more powerful then a half ton with a v-8. Nice truck!!!

I wonder what the cost will be when one of them turbo’s takes a crapper. I’m not a fan of more parts to make power from a smaller motor. I will wait and see how many bugs need to be worked out and stick with my V-8’s.
But I will say, that is one nice looking truck you have there

Update on my Eco Boost MPG as of today.

So far with 288.8 miles on my Eco- Boost MPG today on the computer my avg was 19.0. I filled in Walker and drove 107.7 miles to Brainerd round trip then filled in Walker again and it was full with 5 gals. MPG was at 21.5 not broke in yet. I havent towed my boat yet but so far its looking good for MPG.

I put the down the other day and it has power put my friend back in his seat as well as me and his hat flew off.

This engine was tested over a year before they put it in trucks they beat it up. The report is on Fords Web site for your review.

I have not found the auto computer estimates to be very accurate. They usually over estimate on my vehicles…but it does make me feel better when I am driving

Took me 4 weeks! Ill be switching back soon as I can get the transmission right on this p.0.s of mine. Anything is great on gas when it sets in your yard. Ill take dependability and what has worked for me for the last 15 years over economy. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

I need to correct my self. Its not the make, its all the new technology they put in them now. 14 diffrent relays and 3 modules for everything. I wouldn’t mind a 78 ford 1/2 ton. With the 302. Your truck does look nice and congrats. Hope it works out for ya.
