New Toy!

    Yesterday I picked up my boat outfitted with a new Terrova with iPilot from Actions Fishing in Anoka… Thanks Jack for hooking me up!

    We headed straight for the lake and after just one evening on the water I’m already hooked. The crappies were spread out holding just on the edge of drop offs and using the remote made it extremely easy to quickly cover water. Each time we picked up a fish the spot lock allowed us to hold our position and in no time at all we were on an active school of Crappies. We ended up catching over 50 fish in just 2 hours of fishing.

    If anyone is on the fence about upgrading to an iPilot (like I had been until yesterday) after using it for one night I’m already hooked. I can tell the iPilot will be a huge addition to my shallow water arsenal this year!

    I bought a Terrova last year and love it. I was thinking of buing a second one just incase they stopped making them LOL. I only use the remot and have yet to run it with the foot peddal. They are awesome.

    Welcome to the club. I can honestly say it is the best addition to my boat. Its capabilities and applications are only limited to the users imagination.

    101# goes for around $1600. Bass Pro had the 80# on sale for $1100.

    that thing doesn’t have a red eye! When are you going to chase the true species of sport fishing.

    Holy Crap, I have almost 3 grand in this thing

    Well worth it though!! This year I put a Fortrex 101 on my nitro, and the $ sure adds up quick… But the first time you crank that bad boy to 100 and head upstream and damn near throw a wake… Makes it all worth it! I looked at the terrovas, but I love the cable driven, and I have a bass boat so I am always up and standing anyways on the front. My Northwoods had Ipilot and it was great, but I couldn’t pass on a brand new Fortrex 101 for $800

    If you shop around you should be able to find $1500-1550 for a 101# Terrova but there is also a Minkota rebate for $100.

    I just want to thank you again for buying my old powerdrive, so I could upgrade to the Terrova and I-Pilot. An Amazing tool.

    I wish I would have switched sooner… But at least I made my $$ back trading it in. Looking forward to seeing you up at Mille Lacs this summer

    Its looking like I won’t get up there til June. Have a lot of stuff going in May and our normal week stay at Upper Red Lake around Memorial. see ya then.
