Hi all
Hope everyone is looking forward to getting out on the lakes or rivers for opener.
I need your help on upgrading my Garmin Nuvi for my car. I have the Boss’s(wife) permission to upgrade and i want to make sure i get the right one. If any of you have any ideas on the model to get i would greatly appreciate it. I do like the garmins and i have the Nuvi 200 model.

I’m not sure if you have a smartphone, but I downloaded mapquest free navigation app for my iPhone, gives turn by run voice directions with lots of features, and continuously updates itself for changes to roads etc. I recently used it when I drove from Minnesota to Savannah Georgia, and it worked perfectly the whole trip. Did I mention it’s free?
I have the nuvi 1450lmt. It’s got a big screen, lifetime map and traffic updates and accepts micro sd’s so in winter I put the lake master in it or when working over the road it’s nice to see lakes I could fish. I think they can be had for a little over 130 now

I second that. Free updates as well as the ability to put the chip in is great. I also like the traffic updates that i get.
