I took off from work on friday and headed down to Troutt & Sons in St James Missouri. I pulled in there lot at 8 am and was back on the road by 845 with my new alweld hooked up. With all the talk of severe storms down there i was in a hurry to get headed north. I pulled back in my driveway at 6 pm and had my motor swapped from my old hull to the new one by 7. After getting it in the water sunday morning and getting to run it for the first time. It made the drive and expense of fuel all worth it.

Very nice boat. A good solid Jon boat is a must have for any fisherman. Keep that one in the family for a life time and the grand kids will be telling stories about it some day. Once again very nice looking boat.

So what all are you adding to it?

For now i will just be pulling the electronics off my old hull and swapping them out and rod holders for now. I had plans on adding a few things but after running 72 miles on the rum yesterday i decided that it is to much fun bare bones to weigh it down and make it a dog. I never would of guessed my 40/28 would of pushed it that well compaired to my old lowe 1648.

Wow. If it’s raining hard, can you drive that around your yard on the wet grass?

I pushed it yesterday and never found bottom. I should of in plenty of spots. I did pump a fair amount of sand messing around.

If your looking for a used pump I would start looking on Cl in Missouri. If your looking to spend the money on a new one just outboard jets directly and they can set you up. The price new is around 2200 though. Pm sent too
