Dear Mr. Boat Electronics installer

    When that shiny new fiberglass boat comes into your shop with a bucket full of electronics that need to be installed by 3pm today please keep in mind that 6 years from now the 2nd owner of this boat is going to take all these electronics out and install new ones that won’t require extra antennas and such. I know it makes your life easier to just rip 3/4 holes all over the place to run wires but this boat is going to be floating around planet earth for the next 30 some years and those electronics will be gone in a few years.

    I’d rather have holes drilled than wires laying all over the place. No problem at all for me. They make plugs to fill any of those unwanted/unused holes.
