So after soing some early season fishing under the Ford dam I decided that the 70lb troller needed to be bigger… After coming to this conclusion my buddy informed me that he was parting ways with his almost brand new fortrex 101, and offered me a price I couldn’t pass up. Unfortunately the troller was a 60″ and was on a Tundra, and I needed something 40-48″ range. I made a few call’s and it was off to New Richmond to drop off my troller. $120. later I have a 42″ Fortrex!
Now I had the fun challenge of figuring out where to mount 3 group 27 batteries in a bass boat. So seeing as the boat basically stands straight up and down out of the hole, I mounted the three batteries in the center kind of up under my seat. While in the process of all of this and since I had my dads help we re-wired every questionable thing on the boat, and made everything work like it was brand new again!
Now after some blood sweat and tears! She is back in action, and she showed off in the current yesterday!! Also did some engine hood painting.
And the final project!
