    Dear IDO’ers

I really need your advice on a serious problem.

I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. If the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up. She goes out with the girls a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home, but I usually fall asleep.
Anyway, last night about midnight I hid in the tool shed behind the boat. When she came home she got out of someone’s car, buttoning her blouse. Then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on.
It was at that moment, crouched behind the boat, that I noticed a hairline crack in the outboard engine mounting bracket. Is that something I can weld, or do I need to replace the whole bracket?

You need to calm down and dont do anything rash before calling your marine mechanic. I wouldn’t mess around with a problem of that magniture. You could end up without a boat for most of the season!

ps-and the hole thing mentioned below…

Maybe if I bring her home during the daylight you could get a better look at it.

Wow. You’re really lucky that you didn’t have a gun with you when you saw what you did.

I’d have shot the boat and put it out of its misery.

Dammit Famous Grouse, usually a nice crack where you mount is a good thing butt, in a case this severe, I’m not even sure Mr. JB Weld would do. I think you should replace ‘er before you lose it all. Now there’s a lot of junk mounts out there, so I think you might just get a new one or

Halarious Pug, maybe hes even a good welder, this is where blackmail comes into play. Get the Camera and stay up until it happens again, maybe even give her a few extra bucks so it happens sooner then later. Take a picture and show it to her and get free boat maintainence for life, plus a little extra for under your thumb at your house. Honey its time for some new sparkplugs, need a few bucks?

I think both cracks are too big for you to fill with any satisfaction. Time to move on.
