I have the lakemaster chip for my handheld garmin,will that chip work in a lowrance sonar/gps combo,hummingbird combo? looking at cabels’s catalog and some of those say lakemaster compatible.chip is 2-3 years old..
The new chip won’t would in the some of the handhelds. The LM chip has to be one before they changed them to a micro SD format.
LakeMaster digital map cards are brand specific. Your Garmin version will only work in compatible Garmin GPS units. Since July, 2011 LakeMaster makes only Humminbird versions.
