I just received a phone call from a friend that I can not help because my boat is down. His name is Jerry and his phone #er is 715-212-8211
Jerry is stranded just off the mane channel headed into Grey Cloud. He is alright just stranded. My hope is maybe someone knows some pool 2 anglers that may be out and could contact them to get the fella to safety. My number is 952-250-8599

It’s a long shot but this is all I could think of
    Thank You

Let us know how this works out. Had I seen this sooner I may have taken my little boat out on a rescue mission.

Water Patrol Sheriff is launching and in route to get Jerry off the water.

I believe Jerry said he called Ramsey County non emergency and about a hour and a half later the Water Patrol Sheriff called him back.

Wonder what the bill will be?

I haven’t got stranded in the kayak yet. Maybe this weekend though.

This happened to me and is why a bunch of us guys have each others numbers. I broke down in the same area two years ago. A friend came for me and Mike W was on standby.

I know its obvious but nobody should venture down that way unless they know their equipment is in top form. In my case that was the first time I realized my gas gage was broken.

Been there and do that. I broke down in that same spot a few years ago – Took me lots of call to get off the river – Not a good area to break done ( like anyplace is ) The use to have a Ramp back in Grey cloud – wish they still did – even if it is for emergency use – There are a few Private ramps way back in the channel that I know a few stranded people have used to get their boats out.

    everything workout?

I talked to Jerry today. It seems he hit something at idle speed when leaving Grey Cloud, after that he could not get the motor started. He then used his trolling motor to get to the main channel. The sheriff got him to the landing at about 2:00am.
