Hated being on the shore, ALL THE TIME, so… I fixed that! Since affording or purchasing a man’s boat is out of the question, and with limited space in the townhouse garage, I had to get this! Any other kayakers in the Cities area?

I hate to tell you Corey but I’d say you’ve got a “Man’s Boat”. Anybody with a big enough check book can buy a boat/motor and go boating. To do it under your own power…. that’s manly and a true sign of an outdoorsman.

I’ve got a couple buddies who are up in the cities and into kayak fishing. They are always looking for a fishing buddy.

Haha, my arms don’t put 150 hp, but I understand LOL. Let them know, I would like to hook up with some guys, who kayak fish, I know I could learn a lot. Thanks!

Congrats on the new ride! I could see that as a very rewarding way to fish… I’ve been following the adventures of these guys a bit, sounds like a blast. Lake Michigan Kayak Fishing

You should put that thing in the Zumbro River at Hammond or Zumbro Falls. There is some awesome smally and walleye fishing when the season opens. The scenery is great. If any who read this and want to try it, I have a friend in Millville who has a Kayak Canoe and Tube rental that’s very reasonable. If interested PM me and I will forward Info.

Where in Woodbury are you from? I live in a townhouse off of Tamarack and Woodduck.

You’ll enjoy that there are tons of good places up there to fish. I have a Necky Manitou 14 I fish from and its a blast.

We have been spending a lot of time in ours around the Forest Lake area. I think last year we took in about 15 lakes.

    Have fun!

Cool. Let us know how you like that type of kayak. I have been on the fence for years. I always figured I would get the external seat version like yours but never been on one.

I’ve been reading review on the one I have, and they go both ways, good and bad… we’ll see with this one. Mainly people complianing its not good for ocean surf and gets really wet. I guessing this will do just fine in local lakes and river which is all I can do with it. This model is on clearance at Gander Mtn. in Woodbury, being last year’s model, for $399. Steal for the sit on top kayaks, especially it being set up for angling. Your call, and I’ll let you know when I get on it later this week.
