I am headed up to Cass county this weekend and was wondering if anyone has the low down on the Boy River egg harvest? Nets in, scales flying? I heard the river is open but the lakes are not quite there yet. Going to call Walker later this afternoon to ask them but figured I would ask here first.

I know that the stripping site near Winnie is going to start mid week of next week. That was according to a local DNR offical. I cannot remember the name of that site, sorry.

When I opened this link, I was expecting to see some female walleye sows doing a tail dance around a gold pole with dollar bills stuck ot her dorsil fin.

Nets are not in yet. DNR said they expect to start stripping April 2nd. Guess I don’t get to see tax dollars at their best. If anyone is around for this its worth checking out.
