As we all know, the mobile phone brings great conveniences to people. But now, there is a big problem for me. I live in a building with little mobile phone signal.

When I go home, I couldn’t get calls and dial-out. My friends suggests me to install a cell phone signal booster. But I heard many people discuss this problem. Now I want to know if I install a signal booster what effect I’ll get?

A lighter wallet and no better reception. These “add on devices” are kinda like adding a performance parts sticker to your truck. Doesn’t help one bit.

cell phone range Click on the links with in the link to get an idea. I found it rather informative.
Another route is if you have a smart phone use a wireless router on the pc and use the wi-fi service. I am not sure if all carriers offer this but T’mobile did when I had a Blackberry.

I have T-Mobile and an android phone. The WiFi calling does work quite well. At work i sometimes have crummy service, but on the WiFi it works great.

I went to Radio Shack and bought a booster for around $300 for my shop out in the country. We had zero coverage inside the building prior to the install. Now we have coverage and it works fine inside.

I then bought a second for my office because my cell had no reception through the concrete walls. It works fine now. Fine a good dealer, most will let you return it if it doesn’t help your situation.

i had similar issues with verzion. i live in a valley at the top of the valley is a verizon tower. They offered me a signal booster, but i dont have internet. that is why i have my phone. So i declined and told them to fix it or ill switch as my contract is done.

they fixed the issue, i rarely miss a call, i still get spotty service in some spots of the house.

if you want a free extender, call customer service, ask for a supervisor, and then ask for their supervisor. I went from no we dont give you deals on network extenders to, here is 50 dollars off, to here is a free one…

Of course better reception of signal which render better coversation quality and less drop calls.
