My DNR reg’s book is in the boat, and my pdf file won’t open so I will post it up! While fishing the Croix (near the 94 bridge) what are the seasons? And what guidelines do you go by, MN or WI? What can I fish right now, just rough fish?? I have never fished the St.Croix early and I know the reg’s are WAY different than the sippi. Thanks in advance, and sorry for the amatuer question

Other than panfish right now I’m pretty sure you can’t fish for anything on the croix until opener.

I’m pretty sure the walleye season opens April 28 this year.

If you live in MN and have a MN fishing licence, you have to use the MN regulations.
The above shows the MN-WI border regs.

One exception is that you can use 2 lines.

They come up with numbers like that for all kinds of game species thinking few if any people would actually approach it. Then when people actaully do they get slaughtered and it takes years to change the law. See Wi whitetails…
