So i went to gander yesterday for something to do because it was raining up here in duluth…I have always used trilene smooth casting for my walleye rigs, that is what my dad used so ever since i was little that was the line for me. now i want to expand my horizons and see what the fluorocarbon line is like. has anyone used the Suffix castable invisiline fluoro?

Sifix is some incredible line, strong, abrasion resistent, I started using it late last year an love it.In fact I just ordered a 3000 yd. spool of 4# gold Sufix Elite as my main line tipped with 6# fluorocarbon..

I use Sunline Flouros, they are a little more expensive, but they are top of the line and has had some tests and reviews done for toughest flouro line, and I believe they were top 3. You CAN NOT go wrong with Sunline! Used FC Sniper 5# on my ice fishing setups, and held up Amazingly!

Me personally, I’m not a fan, had it last year on my baitcasters, and it had soooo much memory. I don’t see the problem spending a few more dollars and know I am going to spend less time pulling out birdnests and knots, on purchasing some better fishing line. Just my opinion…

IMO, the worst I have ever used.

Don’t you guys use line conditioner on your fluoro? I do and have no problem with memory. Not sure which Fluoro I spooled up with at the moment, but it wasn’t suffix. Knowing me, it was probably Berkley.

Sufix was totally reformulated this year… I agree 100% on last years, especially with spin reels. I took a chance on this years 6# and it is MUCH improved…much closer to the low memory Seaguar Invizx now.

Pug is correct…Reel Magic works magic!

I used Ardent Line Butter. Grabbed the first thing I saw without seeing a review. I just Googled it and I got lucky I guess, because I haven’t found anything but 5 star reviews.

I also liked it so much I threw it on my mono and it worked just as well. I might even try it on my braid as it gets older, although I am not sure it will do much.
