WORLD RECORD WALLEYE 25 LBS!!!

I’d say that walleye was eating fish the size of that bluegill.

Exactly. I can’t imagine a fish that big. A walleye at 15 lbs is a monster around here. The fish in the picture doesn’t look that fat though. What is the longest walleye that you have heard of? Around 33 is the longest wally i have witnessed.

I was under the impression that the 25lb walleye out of Tennesse was rejected because there was something “fishy” about the certification of the weight???????????

I thought the 22lber out of Canada was the new record?

Can anyone shed some light on this controversy???

You are correct. The one from Tennessee has been stricken from the record books. I heard the actual record was from Bull Shoals in Arkansas… if I remember right.

On our Columbia River forum there’s a picture of a 36″ sow. I don’t know if that’s as long as they can get or not but at 18lbs+, it’s the biggest one I’ve even seen photographed!
