I have just bought a 185 tourny pro with a full windshield. I am looking to see what you guys would put on for a trolling motor. I fish the river most of the time, so I will be dealing with the current/wind most of the time. I do anything for jigging to trolling spinners. Any help would be great.

I think it is only set up for 24 volt.

I just ordered a Terrova 80 with I pilot. That setup is only 24 volts so it might be what you are looking for.

Terrova with I pilot, for your boat I think the 80# 24 volt with a 60″ shaft. If you fish tournaments and need it to work hard for 8 hours a day I’d go with the 36volt 101 but for regular fishing you dont need the extra power and the extra battery is an added cost along with a storage issue. Hope this helps.

x2! Wire another battery into the system that is stored in a separate location if you need to.
You will never kick yourself if you never get it to 10 or never run the batteries dead…

I have a trophy 175 with a full windshield. I have a 80 terrova and some days wish I had the 101. It is not difficult to go from 24v to 36v so if you have room for the third battery and can afford the 101 go for it

bigger is always better, if you settle you will be rest assured you will upgrade later, how long will you have the boat? how long do you plan on fishing? a lifetime? my opinion from experience also adds to resale..
