River conditions at Linksville

    Has anyone fished Linksville over the weekend? We are planning to head there on Tuesday. Wanted to know if there was huge ice bergs floating, dirty water, etc. And how the Walleye bite was.

    Chad, It’s Lynxville, my buddy just sent me an e-mail this morning of a 10# – 2 oz. Walleye his 10 yr. old son Ben caught in the Genoa (pool #9) yesterday. hope that helps, they were jigging plastics.

    Not sure about the bite at lynxville but just down river we caught several short sauger and eyes. Ended up taking home two eyes and three sauger for a meal. Vertical jigging purple grubs with minnows on a 12 to 16 ft brake line. A little trash floating but not bad.
