That fish is a P-I-G pig!

    G3 won’t be here long, I’m guessing!

My biggest eye ever came on a similar setup, why I have to buy 3-4 new bags of ringworms every time out, I’m not sure!!

Not sure why it would be fantastic that it was caught by a Wisconsin guy, but hey when the Packers aren’t playing, what else they got…

At the same time, why get upset that a Wisconsin guy caught it…

Regardless of who caught it, the Pec has been a great walleye fishery for many years, and obviously it is just getting better. I used to fish that area several times a week. I caught many walleyes back then, but nothing even half that size.

    Beat me to it!

Anyways, that is a great fish and he certainly earned it. The guy fishes every day of the week, glad his persistence payed off. I like to see records go to guys that put the time in the sport and truly earn it.

too bad this post had to get off track.
that is a great fish and just crazy that it was caught two months after the 51-year-old record was broken from the same river.
congrats to the fisherman, who definitely earned it.

My co-worker grew up on this river. He said it’s amazing there are even eyes in there compared to the mud pit it was for him as a kid.

Any word if he caught that from the shorline?? I know the pic could have been taken at any point after the catch but seems like he just reeled her in from the dirt??
