Yamaha 250 4-stroke prop

Was wondering if anyone has used a 4-blade prop on a 2009 Yam. 250 four stroke on a Ranger 621. If so what brand, pitch etc. and what difference did it make in performance.

I tried a rev-4 19 but the rpm’s were to high at full throtle and I lost about 4-5 mph. I’m thinking a 20 pitch might work but am looking for any information anyone may have. It came with a 21 that works fine, but looking for a little more hole power.

    Thanks

Yamaha 21P Saltwater series 2 will get you that with the Yamaha F250 4stk.

Thanks Greg, that is what I have on it now but it seems like it lacks hole shot, unless that is just the nature of the beast. Top end is OK but I thought I would try to get a little more hole shot and control in big waves. I know 4-stk are not quite as responsive as 2-stk but I’m always looking for a little more so I thought I’d ask around. I do most of my fishing Sag. Bay, and it has big waves most of the time Thanks again
