That’s the beauty of owning the sandbox James.

Or to put it another way, he who has the gold makes the rules.

It’s OK. I drop shipped a rain barrel to his house to catch his Saintly tears to be released into his favorite sacred meat factory lake.

Post of the day. I can handle most anything but the passive aggressive whining gets to be too much.

By the way, thanks for mentioning sushi yesterday. Michelle spent the night at her friends and it was getting lake, so I ran up to Lunds and loaded up on sushi. I know store sushi is not quite the quality of restaurant, but it does fine in a pinch.

My favorite sushi is mackerel, but it has to be fresher than fresh. I’ve had excellent mackerel and I have had poor mackerel. The poor stuff could put a person off sushi for life. I like mackerel because it has a strong taste.

I always claim to be the most serrated knife in the drawer, only because it confuses people.

I knew I forgot to mention something, doesn’t matter if caught or bought.

That changes my answer. I’m a sucker for sushi. Maybe 12 – 15 times a year if that’s the case.

I think Lunds and Byerley’s are connected, but they are good too. I buy my sushi and shashimi (sp?) Fish at Byerly’s too and make my own.

At least once a week on average, now that I’m trying to eat healthy, could go to 2 or 3 X per week. Salmon, cod, tuna all excellent sources of Omega 3. Wild fish very rarely as my family will not eat any fish. Eat wild fish 5-6 X per year.

They are the same. Lunds bought Byerlys, but kept the Byerly name for brand loyalty. If I buy from a store, its one of those two.

Picked up some tilapia tonight for this week. Going to make them using those new Kraft Fresh Takes.

Don’t worry though, I practiced selective harvest. I bought the eater sized packages and fizzed the biggest.

Had Talapia tonight and found out it isn’t as good with the Omega 3 and Omega 6s after a quick Google. I was hoping being a freshwater fish similar to bluegill that the taste would be similar. It was pretty good, but I am disappointed learning about the Omegas.

Do you ask for country of origin? Some countries raise them in the poop pits and sell them to us.Saw a documentary on it and haven’t had it since.

As long as they aren’t made out of poop, its all good. They were from Cub and I think the package was labeled farm raised in Brazil.

I probably eat fish 3 times a week, mostly sushi, and not in huge quantity, I have a really good cheap sushi restaurant by me in lakeville. I do pickup salmon (mostly not farm raised stuff) from time to time. Also I buy frozen prepackaged cod at Sam’s or Costco.

95% of my eaten has been saltwater fish, generally I don’t keep much for fish, not for any other reason other than I don’t love to clean fish , but I have no problems keeping or cleaning fish if I wanted them for dinner.
