Is it common for you to break into your neighbors homes and threaten them with bodily harm? If not, I’m quite sure you have little to worry about.

Some of you guys sound like your just itching to pull the trigger. Wierd! Im glad I don’t live near you.

This bill isn’t about pulling the trigger. Right now the way the law is written if your working in your garage or work shop and a person breaks in or you catch someone who has broken in and you use a wrench or 2×4 to protect yourself and family you just broke the law. Your garage even if its attached to the house is not a dwelling and you have no right to use deadly force to protect yourself and family. This law would change that along with many other places. Deadly force isn’t just a gun…..

Wasn’t there also somethng in there about reciprocity with other states that also have a CC Law? WI residents need to apply for a non res CC permit with MN to carry across state line- -jerr

Oddly Wisconsin needs a Mn permit bud Mn does not for Wisconsin.
I know a few Wis residents that have gotten a Utah non resident as Utah has more states with reciprocity agreements than Mn.
They also got a Florida permit as this adds 2 more states 33 total. Some reason Utah does not like their neighbor New Mexico but they like Mn and Florida does not like us and we don’t like them but Florida likes New Mexico.
Mn does not like North Dakota but Utah and Florida does.

Just cant make this stuff up .
