Free background music downloads for iMovie?

    Under BK’s promise I can find the answer to any question on IDO:

    I’m looking to make some youtube style videos and would like a big library of background music to choose from. Anybody know where the best places to get royalty free stock recordings are?

    What phone do you have? I have an I Phone 4 and am able to e mail songs to myself from my library. Then just save em on your desktop on your computer.

    But maybe you already know that and are looking for a different route to go since you are making movies etc. Are you concerned about legal issues with using music etc?

    Find music on youtube in a video.
    Copy the URL.
    Open http://www.snipmp3.com
    Paste URL
    Click Convert MP3
    Save to desk top.
    Drag to itunes or into imovie

    Easy peasy

    YT has a instruments only section.

    I have a link to a site at home that I googled a few years back…

    Just google “royalty free music”.
