Any word on how long they have been taking or a way to look up when they project to send them out? Was told they send them out Friday’s and looked and saw there was nothing in the account yet. Need to do some shopping ASAP!

I just got my last one a couple days ago. It will be going in on the 15th just like every year, because I believe the government gets enough. I am not interested in loaning them money to accumulate interest on for their spending. That’s what China is for.

It’s when you let the government use your money for a year to collect interest. Then they make you jump through a bunch of hoops and give it back to you, minus the interest they gained, of course.
My apologies to all for the inconvience. It may be because of my answer to the question on the form referring to the number of dependents I claimed. By claiming 12 million illegal immigrants, 3 million druggies, 42 million unemployed people on relief programs, 2 million inmates in 243 prisons, the Foreign Aid Program for everyone else in the world, and the 555 fools in the US House and the Senate, it might take them awhile to check it out.

Kinda hard to send you out a check when the goverment is broke, they may have to call China to get your money.
My state came in 3 days, that link says my federal will be deposited by the 14th.
Normally I got my federal with in a weeks time….

IRS Refund – 10-14 days. Typically sent out on a Friday like some have said. Typically it is deposited on Friday of the week after you file. If you filled Monday (1/30) it should show up the following friday (2/10).

Mine still isn’t here.
The refund cycle has changed this year. Prior to 2011 (tax year) the refunds were direct deposited on Fridays with a cutoff time of the previous Thursday at noon. Now the cutoff for a particular processing period is Wednesday. Direct Deposit refunds are issued on Wednesdays. Paper check refunds are mailed on Fridays.
There was an alert issued by the IRS that the early refunds may be delayed as there was anticipated short term problems with the refund system.
E-Filed 9pm Sunday night. Had MN state refund Wednesday and Federal showed up Friday afternoon.
