    Same here with my LX-5. My unit although almost 3 years old, has less than 100 hours on it and was probably used less than 25 times. The DCS 100 unit reads the % charged, but stopped passing the charging voltage through to the battery. A fire may have started if I had not checked the unit out as the charger and wires from it had become hot. They sent me a new system that only has 1 light which is supposed to turn green when the battery is charged. I have had a battery that was supposedly 90% charged on the new charger for over 18 hours and the light never changed from red to green. The battery was up over 14 volts and warm on the electrode side. I paid almost $26 for this POS and was curious if others were having similar issues.

    Just curious how old your unit is and was it the DCS-100 that was at fault.

    I called Marcum with the same issue after emailing them two weeks ago and not getting a response. They told me to buy a new charger off of their website. Not the response I was looking for when I already have $500 invested in the unit.
