    this is probably old news, so please don’t make fun of me if it is. My ego can’t take another trashing…
    Bought a bunch of stuff ($350 or so)on my monthly supply run today. Cash register PERSON said “HERE, is a $25 GIFT CERTFICATE”. I basically said WTFF (deleted by BK).

    She said if you buy more than $300 a a single purchase, they give you a $25 gift certificate.

    OK, THANK YOU FF!! I KNEW you could learn marketing…

    I WILL go back and spend it on tackle…

    AND, no expiration date…

    Might even buy a rapala at full price!!!

    Huh… I know I have spent over $300 in one trip, multiple times. Never have I got anything other than the 4 cent gas coupon…

    No thrashing Stu…however if you would sign up for the sales flyer, you would have seen to gift card rebate a while ago.

    But it’s nice to have a surprise once in a while.

    It is part of there Big Boy Toys sale going on now. If you spend so much you get a gift card.

    Wow , now I just have to justafie spending that much on flickers and shad raps. It would make a great discount.

    It is only 8.33% on exactly $300, less if you spend more than that and then the $25 you get and spend has no discount on it. Great if you plan to spend $300+ amyway, but I would not spend $300+ just to get that.

    can’t follow ALL the advertising out there. for me on supply run, just a nice surprise. thought i’d pass it on FWIW…

    buy what you can afford. only 5% of what i bought was fishing tackle…

    PS the banner on the left say the gift card offer expires Feb 4th.
