    Planning a trip to Guttenberg and was wondering how the bite was on Walleye/sauger at the dam area? I am guessing with this warm weather there are ramps open? thanks for any replies.

    I would call ahead first to the DNR office in town, 563-252-1156. Let us know what you find out please.

    I haven’t been over for a couple weeks…looking at going over next weekend…

    The city ramp is closed. The DNR ramp is plowed out but is iced in to the end of the bullnose. Only way to get out is to push your boat across the ice and through the 10 yards of floating chunks. Have to see what two days of warmer weather does.

    Thanks for the report Tom you just me a 2 hr drive. Fishing is real slow in Bellevue, ramp is open. Davenport, you have to pick through the small saugers but you can get a few 14″ ers with bonus of a Walleye now and then. Again Thanks everone for your replies and the phone #.
