Trail pass for non res?

    Coming to MN from WI for a bit of fishing in a few wks. Do I need a trail pass to use my atv on ice? I checked MN atv regs and still unsure. Thanks!

    trail passes are only needed if you travel on any state trail..your atv just needs to have current registration..this is my understanding and what ive followed in the past..so if your going to unload your atv and head out onto a lake or river you dont need a trail pass..just to verify..id call the mndnr if you want
