    Coast guard needs to investigate what went wrong?….If I read the article correctly, it stated, the ship was too tall to go under the bridge, that’s what happened, you don’t need Joe Friday to figure that out.

    or a rocket scientist. maybe a relative of one of the cast members in the movie “deliverence” was piloting. same neck of the “woods”.

    No doubt. I was going to quote the article, “And it’s too early to speculate on exactly what caused the wreck until that probe is done”.

    Well I’ll take a wild guess at it anyway. The wreck happened because the boat hit the bridge.
