If you ever go by Minong off of Hwy. 53, go into town and turn north at the stop light. The grocery store on the left carry’s Links jerky in 30# bags for pretty cheap as far as jerky goes. I believe allot of it is end pieces but it still taste the same. Flavors vary but the price can’t be beat. We stop in on the way up to Canada and take a bag along for chasing down beer

Its called Hensen’s IGA. In addition, Link Stop on the freeway has it too; in bulk.

Since you are interested in this and I am not……they make the stuff in Mankato. Try sniffing around a little and see what you can find. Tony Downs Foods is the parent name I believe. Not much of a jerky guy so I am not going to dig on this.

I checked with my friend that works there (Jack Links), and yes indeed, Jack Links no longer makes their seasoning for public sale… I can do a little more digging and see if he can find out what spices they used to make it with…

Due to a family fued Link Stop sells some off brand crap. I would not recommend buying there. The real stuff is at that IGA.

Good point. I guess I’ve never checked the labels at Link Stop. Same reason why Grandma Links has virtually zero business.

Since another was not interested in this and then proceeded to give false info, I did a little digging. Jack Links is a Wisconsin company, headquartered in Minong, WI. They recently bought a production facility in Mankato MN, in a joint venture with JBS, another company that was already there making products under another name. Jack Links has nothing to do with Tony Downs Foods…. and they do not offer their seasonings packages for public sale anymore
