Want a stripper

Do you have a stripper? Or are you experienced with a stripper? Electric wire stripper-that is. I’ve got an empty factory with heavy power that I’m disassembling and need a good power stripper to help run the job. I’ve got mostly THHN wire (plastic coated) but a few lengths of THW (rubber coated) and even some old old cloth? coated wire that I’m sure I’ll have to strip by hand. What are you using? I’ve got a greenlee hand operated shear for working in close on the heavy guage wire but also need a good tool/idea on cutting longer runs into managable pieces for storage and delivery to the scrap dealer. If you’ve got a machine to sell pm me and I we can work on that. I have included pics of the arpi (stoughton wi) and steel dragon tools machines. I saw several machines like the steel dragon tools machine on alibaba.com. What has been your experience using this site and dealing with a transaction here. Is there significant savings as it seems like extra work to complete a transaction? Any advise on how to process wire and how to handle the insulation scrap would be GREAT

This may not be feasible for ya but…

A buddy and I had lots of wire to strip once. We tied one of the wire to a stationary object and the other to our hitches of our trucks. Pulled it tight and used a hook blade roofing knife to run the length of the insulation.

Hope you find something that works for ya. -Mark

    Is that a rhetorical question?
