Does any know of a good lake map app for the Android phones? The one that I found for MN, had some not so nice reviews.

Is that a 1 time fee, or monthly?

The MN DNR Lake Finder app is free. The app has lake maps and surveys for most lakes. These maps are not the same quality as the Navionics maps but it’s free.

I just downloaded the MN DNR Lakefinder, and have a question. Why do some of the lakes show the depths on them, and others just show the lake? Is there a setting so that i can get the depths?

That’s what I was talking about. Most lakes will have maps (low grade)but not all. You can always go to the full website for the DNR and check. I have seen where the app doesn’t have a map but the full site does. It’s free so it’s hard to complain. It will get you in the ball park.

I should also mention I also have the Navionics app and it doesn’t have all the lakes either. There are some lakes in our area that are not in the Navionics app.

Does Navionics have a lake list that is published for the Android app?

Nothing published that I know of, but shooting them an email might get you the list.
