Looking at getting a new travel cover and a boat recarpeted. Don’t think I am going to have the time to do the job but curious on what it would cost. Anybody in southern minnesota or the cities that you guys have had good luck with? Thanks can’t wait for open water!

Inboard or Outboard motor?
Do you want custom fit snap down or just straps?
Do you want venting to minimize mold?
I’d give Dave at North Country Canvas (Crystal, MN) a call. He’s done 3 custom snap covers, and altered them as I’ve added toys to my boats(s) in the past. Very attentive to detail and function, and excellent customer service. Doesn’t matter what type of boat, he’ll cover it. Snaps or straps. Not sure if he does carpeting, but I know he reupholsters. He’ll know who can recarpet if he doesn’t. Lots of pix of his work on his site. Good luck….
19′ Tuffy Pro Series with a 225 optimax with preferably venting and a strap down system compared to a ranger cover with one strap around the circumfruence and one underneath. Thanks!
Whoops. Didn’t know you were looking at a ratchet style (Ranger) cover. Dave (North County Canvas) won’t / doesn’t do them. I inquired about them with my latest boat, and he doesn’t do them. Gave me good reasons why, but I won’t go into that.
I’ve heard good things about Lakes Area Canvas in Chisago City- 40 miles north of Minneapolis. Getting a ways away from you. I’ve heard Frankies Marine send quite a few boats that way for covers, and they do the ratchet style, and I know of happy customers from there. Looks like they may do recarpeting to, but not for sure on that. good luck…
Custom Canvas of Rochester will do that (Ranger) style of cover.
