Do I have to get a replacement from Strikemaster, or can I go to any auto parts store, or Fleet farm?

I have an older one. When the original line got dried out and cracked, I just replaced it with tubing that was rated for gas/oil. No problems since.

How do you get the line off? Does it just pop right off?

I found a replacement for mine at Motor Parts in South St. Paul. It was cheap too.

If you have an old model like mine you have to push hose back up into the tank it self. The filter is in side of tank. The hose and filter connection goes though the hole in gas tank and seal it off. Becareful pulling the hose from carb. You may break the fitting out. You have to have the right size hose to make it work or work it a different way. I just drill the bottom of tank and threaded a new hole and used a brass fitting. I also just buy a new little inline filter and was good to go.

You may have to cut hose and be careful cutting hose from fitting. Careful is the word.
